26 Oct-28 Oct: Course on CI and spirals

Participation on the course requires at least one year of solid at least once-a-week jamming experience in Contact, or other previous serious movement training in dance, gymnastics, or martial arts etc. coupled together with an experience and understanding of Contact fundamentals.

The course is based mainly on my experience of practising and performing professionally Contact mixed with Capoeira in Finland, and of teaching Contact mixed with Capoeira on several international festivals in Europe and Russia.

I am sharing my experience and joy of dancing contact whilst maintaining continuous spiral movement, which also extends the dance-duet travelling into the space.

I am also sharing a host of exercises I have really enjoyed this summer on several different Contact festivals.

Note! The times have changed a bit. Zodiak had some performance priority, so we had to find new times.

Pidän kontakti-improvisaation peruskurssin 20.-21.10. Kurssilla harjoitellaan kontakti-impron perustaitoja;kuuntelua, kontaktipisteen seuraamista, painonantamista ja -ottamista, nostotekniikkaa, sekä tehdään yksinkertaisia improvisaatiorakenteita, 'scoreja'. Kurssi sopii hyvin sekä aloittelijoille että jo pidempäänkin harrastaneille.
